On Friday the 4th of November the Travelling Gallery visited the school with an exhibition called 'Waste Management' by artists, Jonathan Owen, and Charlie Hammond.

This week, jazz band ‘Bright Noise’ led by Ben Bryden, a former pupil of Dumfries Academy, visited Castle Douglas High School. 

Sue Munday recently visited the school to speak to Senior students.

A group of CDHS pupils recently took on the challenge of improving their cycling skills
